An award-winning actress equally at home on stage or in front of the camera, Gwynyth Walsh earned her BFA at the University of Alberta. Stage highlights include Beatrice in Much Ado About Nothing ( Dramalogue Award ), Prospero in The Tempest (Jessie nomination ), the title role in Antigone for The Stratford Festival, Luisa in the long running LA presentation of Tamara, Eve in a national tour of The Diaries of Adam and Eve and Lady Wishfort in Way of the World. Television work includes the role of Patricia DaVinci in the multi- award-winning Canadian series DaVinci’s Inquest, Flight 93, The Crush, Taken, Tin Man, as well as dozens of other popular series, and films, She is perhaps best known to science fiction fans for her role as B’etor, one of the Duras sisters of Star Trek fame, as well as other appearances on such popular shows such as Stargate, Smallville and Supernatural. Ms. Walsh was nominated for a Leo award for her work in the short film Sparke Light Motel and won for the short film Flush.
Nora (Star Trek Generations favorite Gwynyth Walsh) discovers that her bras hold memories too in the LA premier of CUPS by Joni Sheram, now through September 4 at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza’s intimate Scherr Forum Theatre.
